Good productThese were a pleasant surprise. Prior, I had engaged Friot's Garage and their 3" glass polishing pads. The GG's were very disappointing in durability. After the first use with CarPro's Ceriglass, they displayed the unfortunate ability to allow soak-through to the pad backing causing degradation. Likewise, the GG's loved to shred, leaving fine particles of the non-rayon material on the glass. Finally, cut was lacking.These are fast to cut utilizing rayon without any of the deficiencies noted with the GG product. Ceriglass was a dream to use with less sling, no shred, and sans soak-through. Finally, you can throw them in the washing machine on hot, dry on low, and they are as-new and ready for another adventure. Fantastic and exemplary, kudos to the manufacturer.Used these to hone and polish marble sinks-- sturdy and worked like I hoped.These pads work as advertised with the appropriate holder. Just be careful to center them well before using. I purchased these to use with cerium oxide on a glass windsheld and they worked very well. I used a Millwaukee right angled 1/2" drill with the pad holder and the speed was just right. You can use an ordinary corded drill (it's gonna run your cordless down quickly) but the ergonomics aren't as good and the Millwaukee drill's weight helps as well.They work okay, but don't last beyond a few uses, even after cleaning the pad by hand. I'll use them as a hand applicator pad when they're old.Great pad. Put in a lot of work and Velcro side is strong. Great quality!This worked great for polishing glass using my random orbital sander on low speed. But then I figured I'd pull it off the sanding disk to clean between uses. That's when the felt part of the pad separated from the hook and loop backing on the pad. So my advice is to assume that once you stick it to your sanding disk, it will work great and then self-destruct when you remove it.Will use on marble. I got the Tenex powder to go with the pads and they seem to work amazingly well together. As a test, I etched a 6X6 Carrera marble tile and re polished it with excellent results. The felt pads fit perfectly on my Dewalt drill and 5" velcro pad.Update: now purchased a Perfectly Cleaned DAS6 Pro Plus 12mm Dual Action Polisher and CarPro - CeriGlass Polish which speeds up the process using felt Polishing Pad on car windowscreen.These felt polishing pads are first class I used them with Cerium Oxide Suspended Gel - Fine Grade with a Velcro Fixing Backing Plate, my car window screen that is 11 years old and was far from clear with wiper blades marks and after a good hour or two with using these felt polishing pads with a variable speed slow trigger start electric drill I'm really pleased with the results, I used 2 pads to do the whole car window screen in sections of 12" squared at a time, I placed 5 pea sized amount of cerium oxide on the felt pad dap it on the screen and make sure you start at a slow speed with the drill so the Cerium Oxide Suspended Gel doesn't flick everywhere otherwise it makes a right mess.These 5 inch (125mm) Velour Backed Felt Polishing Pad (pack of 5 discs) EXTRA GRIP do the job well and I would recommend them, they come in a clear plastic bag and are sealed.Please click on the “Yes” button below if this review has been helpful. The felt buffing side just came away from the backing cloth, leaving the backing cloth on the hook and loop backing pad.Contacted Amazon Customer Services and they were very polite and helpful, they are going to investigate with the manufactures why this should happen.This was my first time polishing and these seemed to work fine on my windscreen. I combined with some Gtechniq glass polish and was able to remove many small scratches and water spots after only 2 passes. Was able to clean the pad after using a cheap toothbrush and squeezing the bad out under the tap.I wasn't sure whether these would be the right pads for my small Bosch sander but it turned out that, although they are bigger than the head of the sander, they work very well. They overlap a bit but that doesn't change anything. Great, and not too expensive.Thanks v much.Good value
