These belay bars are great. We put them in our gym a few years ago and still holding up. We use them for top roping and sometimes attach our Trublue auto belays to them. We are expanding our youth program and climbing areas, so looking for other options that will allow us to move our top ropes easily. That’s the only downside if you have a commercial grade gym. A longer bar custom welded locally might be your best option. However, these were perfect for our first few years of growing our youth program at the Nexus Climbing School, and they’ll be there many more years to help us get kids into rock climbing safely.
